INDRA Collective

Make art, make a difference.

The Indra Collective is a growing, global network of young people, artists, educators, and others who share a commitment to the development of the arts as a crucial resource for peace building and the non-violent transformation of conflict.

HOME is delighted to have become the new Hub for INDRA in recent months, and we’re delighted to have launched the INDRA Collective group alongside other organisations across the UK including Burnley Youth Theatre, Derry/Londonderry and Gorse Hill Studios.

This group is currently on a break and will return in October 2023.

How to get involved

Are you aged 14-18?
Want to make a change using art and performance?

HOME’s INDRA Collective meets twice a month (every second Thursday).
The event is split into two sessions:

Session A
6:00pm – 7:30pm

During these sessions, we facilitate discussions based on topics chosen by the group.
These creative discussions help shape and inspire a creative response in Session B.

Session B
6:00pm – 8:00pm
During these creative sessions, we make art (theatre/performance, Film, Visual Arts, Music…etc) to respond to the theme discussed at Session A

“Once upon a time the god Indra made a large net to cover the whole world. Each point of intersection consisted of a beautiful, precious pearl. None of the pearls existed by themselves except as a reflection of each other and of all the pearls in the net. In turn the whole net relied on each individual pearl for its existence.”
